Ten-Year T-Notes Holding within Recent Three-Day Trading Range

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

The daily bar chart of the 10-year T-note futures contract is holding above the support zone and at the lows for the last two days. The RSI readings have yet to form a pivot low above 38, which is evidence that the market is still weak.

The intraday view of the T-note market using the TradeFlow […]

Market Holding Above $50.00, However…

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

Yesterday, sellers brought the market back down following the trade above $53.65 based on the March contract, which was the high of January 16th. This is typical trading range behavior for a weak market. I would expect choppy trading still to be the action going forward.

The 5-minite bar chart of the crude oil the SnapTrader […]

Small Base Built on the Daily Chart of the EURUSD Pair Futures

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

The market is still trading between a near-term resistance zone and the support zone. It looks like the RSI readings will form pivot low above 38 today, and that sets the market into a trading range. The market has built a base over the last seven days, so that could lead to some more upside […]

Daily Gold Chart Hits First Resistance Level.

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

The market this morning is testing the resistance level at $647.30, and is the supply line of the current short-term up trend channel. Let’s see if the price can close at a point that the RSI is above 62, which is an uptrend momentum reading.

Currently, the TradeFlow chart, which is the 1-tick TradeFlow with the […]

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Crude Oil prices are up again today, and that has helped some energy-oriented companies but the sell off in technology is hurting the broad market.

The mid-morning RSI readings from the CQG Custom QuoteBoard, using 15-minute bars for the equity derivative products are indicating wide spread selling pressure. All four, the E-mini S&P (EPH7), the NASDAQ […]

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Currently, just 14-percent of the 228 ETFs I track are showing a positive gain today. Energy is once again on today’s top ten performing ETFs for the day. Excel is linked to CQG for the data.

Ten-Year T-Notes Still Holding above the Support Zone

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

The daily bar chart of the 10-year T-note futures contract is holding above the support zone. I have added a down trend channel, which is a potential area for resistance as the market trades sideways. The RSI readings have yet to form a pivot low above 38. I still interpret the momentum to indicate a […]

Crude Oil Market Bouncing Off of $50.00

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

We are seeing following through buying following the test of $50.00. I have plotted an overhead resistance zone. The RSI readings from the daily bar chart of Crude Oil still indicate a down trend. The market appears to be going through a typical retracement of the recent decline.

The TradeFlow chart of the crude oil has […]

Daily Chart of the EURUSD Pair Futures is Caught Between Zones

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

The market is trading between a near-term resistance zone and the support zone. The RSI readings have yet to form pivot low above 38, so I still expect the price action to test the lower side of the support zone.

The morning look at the TradeFlow Chart for the EURUSD has the both studies set to […]
